About this tool

Tally guide

A simple online tally counter with large controls

Open the page and start counting. The plus button adds one, the minus button corrects an extra tap, and Reset returns the tally to zero.

The intentionally simple interface is useful when attention belongs on the real-world task rather than on reports, accounts, or configuration screens.

Common tally counter uses

Count people entering a room, exercise repetitions, completed laps, inventory items, survey responses, or recurring events. The large number remains readable from a short distance.

Correct and reset the count

Tap minus when an item was counted twice. Reset starts a new count at zero; it is intentionally separate from the large plus and minus controls to reduce accidental clearing.

Counter versus Scoreboard

Counter tracks one unnamed number. If several people or teams each need a separate total and ranking, use Scoreboard instead.

Refresh behavior

The current count is held in page memory and resets when the page refreshes. Record the final number elsewhere if it needs to be kept.

Frequently asked questions

Can the counter go below zero?

Yes. The minus button can produce negative values when the activity requires them.

Does it measure click speed?

No. This is a manual tally tool, not a clicks-per-second test.

Is the count saved?

No. Refreshing the page returns this counter to its starting state.
