Scorekeeping guide
Online score counter for multiplayer games on one device
This online score counter tracks up to twenty players for board games, cards, trivia, classroom activities, and informal competitions. Add names, change scores, and read the current ranking from one shared screen.
It is a flexible counter rather than a sport-specific scoreboard. There are no team clocks, periods, possession controls, or live public links.
Add players and update scores
Create a player, then use the score controls to add or subtract 1 or 10. Larger steps make high-scoring games faster, while the small step is useful for corrections and low-scoring rounds.
Correct mistakes without losing the game
Use Undo after an accidental change. Reset clears scores when a new match starts. The ranking updates from the current totals so everyone can see the order without manual sorting.
Session score storage
The scoreboard state stays in this browser session so a refresh is less likely to end the game. It is not synchronized across devices and is removed when the tab or browser session ends. Keep a separate record for any result that must be preserved.
Scoreboard versus Counter
Choose Scoreboard when several named players need separate totals. Choose Counter when you only need one number for attendance, repetitions, or inventory.
Frequently asked questions
How many players can I add?
The scoreboard supports up to 20 players on one device.
Can other phones edit the same score?
No. This version is designed for one shared device and does not provide a live room or share link.
What happens if I refresh?
The scoreboard survives a refresh in the current browser session. Closing the tab or ending the browser session removes it.
