Use 30 seconds or 1, 3, 5, and 10 minutes for common tasks. For another duration, enter a custom value and apply it before starting. The timer supports up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds.
Start, pause, resume, and reset
Pause keeps the remaining value so the same countdown can continue. Reset returns to the selected duration. Starting after the timer reaches zero begins that duration again.
Sound and device limitations
Your browser may require one interaction before audio is allowed. Device mute settings, browser power saving, a sleeping device, or a suspended background tab can affect an alert. Keep the page visible for time-sensitive activities.
Timer, stopwatch, or alarm?
This page counts down from a chosen duration. It does not count upward like a stopwatch, create a clock-time alarm, or run repeating interval cycles.
